Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 21, 2026
What standard do you follow?
We want every visitor to be able to use this site, with a screen reader, by keyboard, or with any other assistive tool. Our target is Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1.
What have you done?
- Pages use plain HTML, and headings run in order.
- Text stands out clearly from the color behind it.
- Each image has a short text version of what it shows.
- Each form box has a label. No form needs JavaScript.
- We never rely on color alone to show something.
- The Tab key reaches every link and button.
Is the work finished?
No. We check pages again each time we add or change one. When something here won't cooperate with your setup, let us know and we'll sort it out.
How do I report a problem?
Phone (832) 539-7922. Or describe the trouble on the contact page form. Name the page, say what went wrong, and mention any assistive tool you use. We'll work to put it right quickly.
What about other sites you link to?
We link to cities, counties, water suppliers, levee districts, the USDA soil survey, FEMA's flood maps and other public sources. Their accessibility is up to them.
Book a Free Foundation Inspection
Tell us what you've noticed, and a local foundation company will come and take a look. They'll measure, explain what they find and lay out your choices. The visit costs nothing, and you're under no obligation.
