Referral Marketing Disclosure

What does this site do?
Sugar Land Foundation Repair Co. links homeowners with one foundation repair company that covers their area. Your call or form comes to us, and we hand it on. From there, the inspection and any repair belong to that company.
We own no trucks or tools and employ no crews. Nobody from our business will visit your home. We don't do home inspections or engineering work either; the company handles that. This page explains how the arrangement works and how money changes hands, so you can judge the rest of the site with that in view.
Who pays you?
Not you. There's no charge for the inspection, and no strings attached.
When we're paid, the money comes from the repair company. It might pay a set fee per request. Or it might pay to receive all of this site's requests for a period of time. Either way, it's an advertising expense for them. We'll never send you an invoice.
Who will I be dealing with?
An independent company that doesn't work for us. Prices and repair methods are its call, as is the schedule. If you sign a contract, it's with that company, not us.
You'll find no contractor scores here, and no promises about anyone's workmanship. Before saying yes, ask the company for proof of insurance and for the scope and price in writing. Also ask whether your city wants an engineer's letter or plan. The city pages we read around Sugar Land don't say.
Shopping around is fine. On foundation work, two or three bids make good sense, and we won't ever talk you out of it.
How do you keep the guides honest?
We write them to help you even if you never call. Every figure comes from a public source and says which one: the USDA soil survey, the USGS geologic map, the Census, FEMA, the National Weather Service, the subsidence districts, and each city, county or water supplier. Prices are averages and ranges posted by Houston-area businesses, with sources.
Money plays no part in what the guides say. No fee can change a soil count, shrink a price range or water down a permit rule.
What if no company can take my request?
That can happen in parts of our area. If it does, we'll let you know directly. We won't leave your request with a company that can't respond.
What else should I read?
Three related pages: the terms and conditions, the disclaimer, and how to make a complaint in our complaints policy.
Who can I ask?
